My very first G.I. Joe post.
Reading G.I. Joe fics is a blast, but I've found VERY few slash fics and absolutely no Wet-Suit/Leatherneck fics, ARRGGHHH!!!!

JSA Metafiction
This was inspired by the Gay Alan Scott wank. I hope you enjoy it.

"Um Ted, as much as I'm glad that you're defending me. I'm not really sure you should be engaging with them." Alan said as he gazed over Ted Grant's shoulder. "Internet trolls aren't worth your anger."

"Hey, I warned them what would happen if they continued to act like homophobic assholes," He said, with a bit of smug contentment as he typed on the computer. "Besides, the world needs more Justice Society slash, espically ones with you and Jay doing it with each other."

"I think you would probably have done it anyway irregardless of what people say," He replied.

Ted responded with a mischevious grin. "Definately!"

Do angry DC fans have weird priorities or what?
One would think that the fans would complain the most about James Robinson creating young versions of JSA without the WWII ties or revamping their origins to give them a mystical tweak. But the issue that they're most vocal about is that Earth-2 Alan is gay? Cripes! The guy has been rebooted, which means pretty much means that it's okay to start from scratch and that includes his sexual preference. My complain is that some of the other JSAers need to be either gay or bisexual so that Alan doesn't feel left out.

Still, what is wrong with people? This opens the door for Alan/Jay slash and we need more JSA slash. (I'm cool with reading fics where Alan is paired with someone else.)

DC Established Superhero Sexaulity Switching
I'm kind of hoping that either Barry or Hal will be made bisexual, if not, then I'd like to read about the Earth 2 adventures of a Gay Dr. Mid-nite. Still, I hope that the sexaulity switching will be interesting.

Earth 2 Comic
I skimmed through James Robinson's Earth 2 Issue one today. He's pretty good at characterizing Al, Jay and Alan. But he really didn't need to make Joan that nasty.

Comic Reviews
I like Gail Simone's Birds of Prey: Perfect Pitch, but she has an annoying tendecy to have the main characters obssess over personal issues that they really should have settled years ago, not to mention doing Boring Invincible Villian!Deathstroke. Simone also missed a great opportunity to have Shiva start to enjoy helping people yet still being ruthless and harsh to the bad guys. Still, it's a decent book.

My Mind is a weird place.
I'm defineatley a weird person when I ponder about the idea of Doc Savage slash and my reponse is "Why haven't they written this stuff yet?". I guess reading Superhero slash will help you to be more open-minded. And yes, I would glady read fem-slash.

Comic Musing
It's quite interesting that Pervyfic didn't choose who was the most sexiest villan because she finds good guys sexy. It's a nice change of pace from the usual ramble of 'Villans are so much more cooler than heroes.' shtick. Heck, if I like a bad guy, it's usually because they have a streak of goodness in them or because of the tragic 'anybody can become evil if they have enough bitterness in them.'. It doesn't mean I excuse their actions, it just makes them more fun.

My thoughts on Solider/Medic
While it's not my favorite pairing, I have no problems with it. Heck, I think Solider probably could have a crush on the Medic. "Stupid Sexy Medic."

Writer's Block: Out of this world
What would you name a new planet?

I'm not sure, something probably silly and stupid which makes me totally unqualified to be naming planets. :)

Doctor Who Ramblings
To be honest, I think the Doctor is bisexual, with some incarnations leaning toward het and some leaning toward gay. (Even if he is asexual, it doesn't make him aromantic. Geez, some fans are crazy nutcases.)

Thoughts on the DC Reboot
Bit of a bummer that Barry and Iris are no longer married, but the silver lining is that he gets a better chance of dating Dinah, so I have no anger.

I agree that we shouldn't use superpowers as a replacement for a character's personality, but why assume that you can't relate to a character just because they have superpowers? Isn't fantasy supposed to use allegory to illustrate our inner hopes and fears?

Boy, protesting over the DC Reboot is silly and is a waste of good energy. If you don't like the Reboot, then don't read it.

DC Reboot
Quams about the DC hard reboot aside, it's nice to see both Ronnie and Jason working together as Firestorm and it's cool that there's a Mr. Terrific series (If only they hadn't killed off Terry. :(). I'll check Red Lanterns just because of Ruffles the Rage Kitty.

My take on the Harry Potter Lupin Conterversy.
If J.K. Rowling says he's an ex-gay, I'm going to immeditley assume that he's an out of the closet bisexual.

The reason why I love the fact that death has no meaning in superhero comics is because when I'm watching anime, half of the characters I love die and they don't get resurrected as often. This bites, so I'm perfectly happy with the 'death is cheap' thing in superhero comics. That being said, I love anime just as much as I love superhero comics.

Dethklok Complaint
Why the hell are the guys of Dethklok labled sociopaths when they're clearly not. They can be egotistical, hard partying, dumb as dirt, act like thoughtless jerks at times and are basically naive man-children. But they're not sociopathic. Is our definition of the word sociopath becoming extremeley loosely defined? Sorry about it, this is a subject that tends to irritate me a lot, feel free to disagree with me. ;)

Insane Ramblings
I'm getting more hits on my examiner page, which is very cool. I'm pretty busy with schoolwork, so I haven't been updating often. Still, I will comment from time to time.
